Still the same Goat's Milk Soap bars, but molded with real natural sea sponges harvested from                                         These sponges are safe to use, and are soothing and refreshing to the skin.  An unscented Goat's Milk Soap bar molded in a sea wool sponge is the perfect cleaning tool to wash your most precious cargo, that being your infant- children; but not to limit its use, the sponge can be used on all skin, young, old, sensitive, or rough.

When you have finished your sponge soap bar, and there is no more soap left on the sponge, you can wash the sponge out with vinegar and water, and get several months, and possibly  years of use from your sponge.  You could use it for cosmetics, household cleaning, dishes, washing your boat, vehicles, horses, you get the idea.
Synthetic Sponges Are Poisonous!
Triclosan which has been registered by the (EPA) as a pesticide has found it's way in to just about all synthetic sponges sold in the U.S. today.
Natural Sponges Are More Durable!
In less than one week synthetic sponges become infested with bacteria and mildew, and very easily fall apart and shrink.
Natural sea sponges have more durability and retain more water than synthetic sponges.  Natural sponges have natural enzymes that inhibit the growth of mildew, mold and bacteria.
Choosing Natural Sponges Is Better For The Environment!
Sponges are harvested locally keeping local citizens employed.  Crop rotation is incorporated in harvesting these sponges.  Every time a sponge is cut, part of the sponge is left on the ocean floor to regrow within a few years to its original size, if not larger.
Sea Wool Sponges are the finest sponges used for bath and home use.  When sponge is wet it feels silky and smooth and cleans like no other wash cloth and sponge can.  When properly cared for sea wool sponges can last as much as 10 years!
Yellow Sponges are great for bath and home use as well and are popular for painting, pottery, ceramics, arts and crafts, and properly cared for the yellow sponge can last as many as 4 years.
Due to the busy farmers market season we have so thankfully enjoyed, we are currently low in our soap bars molded with natural sea sponge inventory.  We are diligently making more, however please keep in mind that each handmade batch does take 4 to 6 weeks to cure before they can be used and sold.  Thank your for your patience, if you have any specific request you can call or email me any time.  I will be posting on this page photos and the availability of each bar soon.
